The library and information service provides access to the knowledge base of health care and facilitates its effective use.
A wide range of resources is available to library users in physical and electronic form.
Library staff will undertake clinical literature searches on your behalf. You may be present during these searches to help refine the results, or they may be done in your absence and the results emailed or sent to you. We can also offer support for course work and research.
Use the online Literature search request form to submit a request.
Books or journal articles not in stock can be borrowed from other libraries. Please fill in Request a book form or a Request a journal article form with as much detail as possible. If an item is required urgently for patient care please phone the library.
For more information on this service see the Document supply and inter-library loan service web page.
Training sessions in literature searching skills are available for individuals or groups. We can advise about types and times of sessions.
