WiFi Access

  • Cornwall NHS Community – Staff WiFi access for Personal Devices

This facility is provided to enable internet access for staff owned smartphones, tablets or similar devices. Excessive use/misuse of this facility will result in your access being speed limited, revoked or disciplinary action.

Access can be used for personal use provided this does not interfere with the performance of your duties, those of other staff or contractors or the business of the Trust in general.

This is a free, but unsupported, service to staff and uses spare bandwidth on a separate network, but there is no guarantee of availability or speed. Do not contact the Service Desk for help or to log a fault. Cornwall IT Services have provided a help page for the most common devices, but if your device is not listed, the onus will be on you to find out how to connect it.

For more information visit the Staff WiFi webpage from an NHS networked computer.

  • Student WiFi access

Student access to WiFi is available on site at the Knowledge Spa via Eduroam.

Information on how to set up your device for this service is available from the Plymouth University IT Services – Instructions for connecting to Eduroam or University of Exeter IT services website.

Plymouth students can log in to eduroam with their username and password.

Exeter students will need to log in to eduroam using a full Exeter email address and normal password.

PCMD students please refer to both University of Exeter and Plymouth University information above.
